Time flies!?It is incredible to believe it has been one year since Stone Creek Construction Group completed the new Research and Development (R&D) Innovation Studio in Hackettstown, NJ for Mars Industries. The R&D Innovation Studio includes a prototyping kitchen, packaging lab, and collaboration space, which were all designed to increase speed and innovation for the global company. #TBT??The Shrine of Saint Joseph in Stirling NJ was founded nearly a century ago to assist immigrant families and support their Catholic faith in their new country. The campus started as a simple barn that was converted into a chapel and has grown through the decades to include a main chapel, outdoor shrines, outdoor Stations of the Cross, a 9/11 Tower of Remembrance, and a building dedicated to retreat and spiritual programs. Stone Creek Construction Group was proud to have planned, overseen, and executed a compelling new spiritual space, the Pilgrim Chapel, which was completed and dedicated in 2022.?The most noticeable feature is the reciprocal roof, a beam system arranged around a central point.?A reciprocal frame forms a single unit structure which requires a minimum of three beams.?Each bean is supported at the outer end, with the inner end supported by the adjacent beam. As the roof is structured with the inner ends higher than the outer end, a ring beam was constructed at the clerestory to ensure the force of the outer ends does not spread the supporting structure #NJConstruction #ConstructionIndustry #CommercialRealEstate
