The Growth Hub was established by the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LEP to play a major role in the drive for strong, sustainable business growth across the LEP area. It will act as the focal point for businesses that wish to grow by referring them to co-ordinated and cohesive growth programmes, business networks, growth groups and links to specialist information, advice and services. If your business would benefit from a helping hand to get onto a growth programme or apply for a business grant then a Growth Hub advisor can help. If you would like a free of charge appointment with a Growth Hub advisor to discuss what options are available to support the growth of your business, please contact the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Business Helpline on 0300 111 8002.

The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub team has been busy engaging with businesses, delivering expert-led workshops and championing growth across #Staffordshire. Recently, these events have included a workshop on developing a strong sales pipeline, delivered in partnership with Sales Geek and delivered by Jonathan Whitby at the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. Businesses gained valuable insights on refining their strategies for long-term success. Another key event was the 'Identifying Exits for Shareholders' workshop at Codsall Community Hub, held in partnership with South Staffordshire Council and Rocketeer Enterprise. Business owners, shareholders and advisors were provided with expert guidance on exit options, legal and financial considerations, business valuations and negotiation strategies for smooth business transitions. The team also attended the latest We Are Staffordshire Ambassadors Event at Newcastle Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG). Growth Hub Manager Rachel Wood and Business Advisor Bethan Atkinson celebrated Staffordshire as a place of skills and learning, as part of National Careers Week 2025 (#NCW2025) and #CollegesWeek2025 and heard from experts across institutions and the private sector about how we’re equipping the leaders of tomorrow with the right skills to support local economic growth. Additionally, in partnership with Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, we delivered a fully funded workshop on #neurodiversity in the workplace, led by Donna Stevenson of the neurobox Training Team, at Hawkesyard Estate. This session explored how businesses can support neurodivergent employees through inclusive practices that ensure all team members thrive. This is just a snapshot of what we’ve been up to recently. Keep an eye out for more events from the Growth Hub that can support you and your business as we continue to drive growth and innovation across #Staffordshire.
