23 years ago, our world changed forever. In 1999, I moved back to New York City from Arizona, and just a couple of years later, I was on my way to a meeting in the Financial District. I was supposed to get off at the World Trade Center subway station that morning for the site visit, but by chance, I had to return to the office because I forgot our digital camera. When I returned uptown, I saw crowds gathering and looking out at Tower I. As we mark another anniversary of 9/11, I reflect on the resilience, strength, and spirit that define this city. I am incredibly proud to lead our New York-headquartered team, rooted in a community that has shown the world what it means to persevere. Today, and every day, we honor the memories of the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice—our family members, friends, and the first responders. We will never forget.
