?? Sidney’s Story: A Vietnam Veteran’s Gratitude Sidney, a proud Vietnam veteran and retired nurse, has faced hardships after battling PTSD and the effects of a stroke. Living on disability, he struggled to make ends meet and often went without food. However, thanks to St. Mary’s Food Bank, Sidney now receives nutritious food, including a special senior food box, to help him through tough times. “Before I got help from St. Mary’s, I was barely surviving,” Sidney shared. A big THANK YOU to the boys from Styx for setting a new St. Mary’s Food Bank Guitar Auction record on Wednesday and Thursday night at Celebrity Theatre. An incredible 147,500 meals were raised by three Styx super fans, each of whom went home with signed guitars. Thanks to Styx and their staff for an amazing two nights, and to our great friends at Danny Zelisko Presents for their continued support in feeding Arizona families.
