The Regional Business Council, Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc., and STL Partnership are leading the charge in revitalizing the historic Kinloch community with the 2025 Kinloch Block Builders event. From March 10-14, local organizations united for the first phase of the initiative, a large-scale property cleanup, clearing brush & combating illegal dumping. Corporate & civic leaders gathered on March 12 to discuss the significance of this initiative for the region's future. Annie Jacqueline Mbale, MBA's expertise has been crucial in assisting World Trade Center St. Louis and St. Louis Mosaic Project. We are incredibly proud of her hard work and her many talents.
Missouri MBDA congratulates Annie Jacqueline Mbale, MBA, the Project Manager for the World Trade Center-St. Louis (WTC) and the St. Louis Mosaic Project. She leads digital engagement, manages electronic communications, helps with foreign delegations’ visits to St. Louis and supports WTC’s 16 Sister Cities Initiative, fostering global trade and investment partnerships. Annie also plays a key role in organizing WTC’s annual Growing Global business luncheon and the International Institute’s Festival of Nations. At the Mosaic Project, she develops and executes programs that support immigrants in St. Louis through mentorship, networking, and entrepreneurial resources. She leads STL101, a monthly program connecting newcomers, locals, and internationals. Previously, Annie worked as a Communications Director and Marketing Consultant, specializing in web design, digital marketing, and marketing strategy. An active community leader, Annie serves on the board of the St. Louis African Chamber of Commerce and mentors immigrant entrepreneurs and young professionals. She also volunteers as a Digital Marketing Mentor for Rung for Women. She founded several organizations such as “A Community for African Female Entrepreneurs" (ACAFE) and UMSL Women Empowering Women, promoting women leadership and supporting female entrepreneurship. Annie holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), along with a Digital Marketing Certificate, a BSc in Business Administration (International Business and Marketing), and a Political Science minor. Phase One of the Kinloch revitalization effort is officially underway. The 2025 Kinloch Block Builders event is the first step in a larger initiative to restore this historic community. Thanks to a collaborative effort led by STL Partnership, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc., City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, and the Regional Business Council, efforts are underway to clear years of illegal dumping and bring new economic and social opportunities to the area.
