Dear St. Louis, As 2024 comes to a close and I reflect on the first year of STL 1st, I am most appreciative of the connections I've developed, and support I've received from incredible leaders across St. Louis. Throughout this year, I was consistently reminded of the phrase beginning with, "It takes a village..." Although the original meaning was geared toward raising a child, I'd argue you could easily swap 'child' for 'start-up'. The support from?family, friends, clients (current & prospective), and like-minded St. Louisans that have gone above & beyond to help progress the STL 1st mission and vision has been overwhelming.?? I would be remiss not to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. The collective encouragement, guidance, resources and networking that has taken place on STL 1st's behalf has helped us grow and reach new milestones that would not have been possible without you all.? As a first-time entrepreneur, I hope other start-ups have a community that rallies around them like St. Louis. From my first-hand experience, it truly does "take a village" and I couldn't be more thankful for ours.?? As we move forward, we are excited to continue building, learning, and growing together. We will always remember the role you all played in helping us get here, and we look forward to giving back to this community that has given us so much.
