The mission of St. John’s Preschool is to celebrate children’s depth of wonder and joy in the world, and to engage with them and their families in their explorations. In a rich environment, children collaborate with experienced teachers to extend their thinking and to develop their unique abilities. St. John’s Preschool is inspired by the Municipal Preschools and Infant-Toddler Centers of Reggio Emilia, Italy, which provide the philosophical foundation for our values and actions. Our launching point is the belief that all children are competent, capable, and intelligent.
