When collaborating with the Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs for their 27th Annual Partnership Breakfast, it was only fitting that our local Colorado Springs graphic designer, Katie, illustrate a Custom Sticker Sheet for the event. Every partnership, every sticker, every label we create reflects the care and creativity our team pours into the process. ?? It’s our people—like Katie—who make each project truly special. We’re proud to support local connections and celebrate the businesses that make our communities thrive.
It was such a privilege to be allowed to create a completely hand-drawn sticker sheet with StickerGiant for the Downtown Colorado Springs Partnership’s annual breakfast this year. This custom design was passed out to hundreds of Colorado Springs local business folks and even though I’m ?never? up that early, the breakfast was such a fun morning of connection and networking. I love our city!

Every sticker has a story. ??
#FlashbackFriday to one of my favorite projects, celebrating both my love for design and my Mexican roots. Creating this Dia de los Muertos sticker on holographic material was deeply meaningful to me. It’s a tribute to the tradition of remembering loved ones who have passed. In this design, I incorporated marigolds, symbolic butterfly wings, and a “papel picado” with the word “Recuerdo” (remember) to honor those memories. This project also allowed me to reflect on the beautiful lives of my abuelita Amalia and my neighbor Josie. Remembering them brings a sense of comfort and connection, which is why I wanted this sticker to serve as a reminder to cherish those we’ve lost. Thanks to my experience in Art and Pre-Press, I could use techniques like the white backup layer and experiment with blending modes and transparencies. These allowed me to create unique effects, letting the holographic colors shine in specific areas like the marigold petals and butterfly wings. I’m incredibly grateful to StickerGiant and the amazing team who helped bring this design to life. Holiday party? No no no– we do things differently around here. ??????
I threw my first company Halloween party for StickerGiant and am THRILLED with how everything came together! ?? Naturally, I was a Ringleader as the "fun torch" was officially passed off to me. ?? Our Giants (employees) voted to switch things up this year by having a big Halloween celebration instead of our traditional holiday party. We rented a local venue down the street who generously offered to let us use their already decorated space and provided us with things like charBOOterie and "Witches Braised Beef Stew". ??♀? From the creative costumes to the themed food and SG branded photo booth filters, we all had a blast gathering for a good time as we enter the final months of the year. ?? Parties help make company culture fun, but it's the people who come together and support one another that make it a true, valued work experience. ??
