Our March 2025 Franciscan Service Award recipient is Stephanie Evans! Stephanie has worked at St. Francis as an occupational therapist since July 1993. Some of the comments from her nomination include: "During her 31 years of service, Stephanie has worked in multiple settings, providing excellent care in a kind and compassionate manner. She has a joyful spirit and helps to create a fun work environment for her fellow coworkers and patients. A recent patient who had suffered a stroke, gave Stephanie credit for getting him back to where he could live his life in a meaningful way. He said she was tough but always made his therapy as fun as possible. Stephanie volunteers to serve the homeless and needy people in our community on a regular basis with her church. She has identified individuals in need and organized assistance for them, as well as, donated to their needs. She has taken these actions for coworkers, patients, and others within the community. She always has a smile on her face and creates a positive work environment." Thank you for your service to our organization and to our community, Stephanie!

Congratulations to Evelyn Jackson who recently received the February Franciscan Service Award (FSA)! Evelyn serves as a Nursing Assistant - CSR on 3rd Medical and has worked at St. Francis for nearly 28 years. Here are a few comments her peers submitted for her nomination: "Mrs. Evelyn is a shining example of someone who commits to serving others. Whether nurses, CSTs, patients, family, she is always there to provide assistance. She helps whenever needed, wherever needed. It is easy to see Mrs. Evelyn’s love for life. She is a friend and someone we can all approach and know that she will listen. No task is too high, no job too low. She does it all. It’s hard to think of someone humbler than Mrs. Evelyn. She always says she’s just doing her job, but she does more than her job. She creates an environment of trust and comfort." Thank you, Evelyn, for your service and dedication to our ministry.
