We recently had an amazing day on the green supporting the Byrnes Health Education Center and its mission to inspire healthier choices for all. John Kerchner, Executive Vice President, was joined by Robbie Stewart and Jason Weitzel of York Building Products.

Construction at the Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center is moving full steam ahead! The exterior vapor barrier is complete, and the brickwork is nearly finished. Exterior window installation is ongoing. The Brazilian walnut wood decking and perimeter roof deck railing have been installed. Inside, work continues with drywall finishing, installation of timber-framed wood stairs, drywalling bulkheads, and painting exposed ceilings and walls. Stay tuned for more updates!

David and Josh have played a significant role in our success for nearly half a century. It's an honor to have this father-son duo on our team!

David Packard began his career with Stewart & Tate Construction in 1976 as a laborer. He recalls his first days on the job running a jackhammer with a crew installing telephone duct in York. It didn’t take long for the company leadership to recognize David’s commitment and dedication. From there, a career journey that would span multiple roles and generations was set into motion. David soon moved to an in-demand crew responsible for building bridges and was then promoted to foreman and site superintendent. His career journey at Stewart & Tate spanned four decades and inspired his son Josh to pursue his own goal of becoming an operator on a construction team. Josh followed in his dad’s footsteps, starting out as a laborer with Stewart & Tate in 2004 with a steadfast focus on learning to become an operator. That first year, the father and son duo had their initial opportunity to work side-by-side. “?????? ?????? ?? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ?????? ???? 2004, ?????????? ?? ???????????? ???????????? ???? ?????????? ???????? ???? ?????? ??????????????,” ???????? ??????????????. “???? ?????????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????????????? ?????? ???????? ?? ???????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ???????? ?????? ?????????????? ???? ?? ???????????? ?????? ??????????. ?? ?????????????? ?? ?????? ???????????? ???????? ????????.” ? Just like his father, Josh has been driven to grow his knowledge and experience. After his start as a laborer, he dug in and was rewarded with the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, deploy a wide range of technology, and gain experience across a variety of projects. Today, his 20+ year career path has led him to project management, where he is able to apply all his experiences gained in the field and all his father’s teachings to help bring jobs to successful completion. ? As bulk excavation approaches completion at WellSpan's new Surgical & Critical Care Tower, our team is preparing for the next phase by making space for additional contractors. This involves continuing the layering of levels throughout the building, excavating and pouring concrete foundations, installing electrical vaults, setting up building drainage, and preparing for the installation of underground utility networks.

Project Update! ??? Our dedicated team has been diligently working to complete The Wenger Group's new headquarters in Lancaster, PA. From installing flooring in the corridors and café to painting the exterior and preparing for final inspections, we're excited to be in the final countdown to moving our client into their new space! ?? #ConstructionUpdate #BuildingProgress

We were proud to sponsor the Shadowfax Corp Golf Outing held at the Country Club of York last week. Shadowfax is a private, non-profit human services agency that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
