Let's talk about fit modeling! A (sometimes) lesser known area of the modeling industry. Often when models come to meet with us at Stetts there is a mixup between fitness modeling and fitting modeling. So what is a fit/fitting model? As we like to say here at Stetts: ? A fit model is essentially acts as a "live mannequin" during a garment's design and production process. ? Fit models are hired primarily for their measurements and their experience. ? They provide feedback on various parameters such as size, proportionality, balance, and comfort, so that all necessary adjustments can be made to the garment prior to production. ? Fit models play a crucial role in ensuring garments fit accurately and satisfy design and consumer expectations. A pretty cool job if you ask me ??
