#SCOTUS Rules on Lanham Act— In a unanimous opinion, the U.S. Supreme Court has clarified that Section 35 of the Lanham Act applies only to the profits of the defendant, not its unrelated corporate affiliates. This ruling vacates the nearly $43 million award to Dewberry Engineers and remands the case for further proceedings.
