Last week, during Women in Construction Week, we were proud to sponsor a table at the NAWIC - Greater Omaha Chapter # 116 luncheon. We invited two staff members and two high school girls from Lighthouse After School Program, both of whom participated in our Concrete Construction 101 class last fall and have a growing interest in the construction industry. We hope hearing the inspiring stories of successful women in construction left a lasting impact on these young women, showing them firsthand the opportunities that await them in the field. We're excited to continue supporting the next generation of construction pros!

October was "Employee Ownership Month" and we hosted a food drive taking ownership of our community. This year, our team collected 1,216 pounds of food that will go to the food bank of Lincoln and food bank for the heartland (Omaha).
