We attended a highly informative session organised by the BILT team on the UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Innovation Framework. This effective and proven methodology helps TVET institutions align with market demands and foster sustainable innovation, including: ? Strengthening TVET through self-assessment using balanced scorecards, stakeholder mapping, and innovation action plans. ? Promoting collaboration among educators, students, the community and industry for lasting impact. The framework is agile, supporting a catalytic approach to innovative actions within identified thematic areas for Network Centres and other institutions of member states. It has been successfully implemented in Brazil across six campuses and is now planned for national scale-up and expansion to Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa. This year, the #G20Brasil took the decision to engage further civil society in the #G20 process. Last week, during the Sherpa meeting, the 13 engagement groups of G20 presented their recommendations to the members, invited States and international organizations. As the UNESCO’s Director-General, Audrey Azoulay, stated during the last G20 Foreign Ministers meeting, we need “to deliver more efficient and close cooperation with civil society on issues that absolutely need its contribution.” UNESCO strongly welcomes this initiative. As a longstanding supporter of the involvement of civil society, our Organization is working to create spaces for dialogue between governments, artists, educators, academics, businesses and youth. This year, UNESCO is contributing to different engagement groups including Justice 20, Ocean 20, Youth 20, Think 20, and Business 20. ??On justice, and because we must ensure the use of technology to enhance the efficiency of the judiciary, UNESCO has provided the group with data on the usage of Artificial intelligence in the judiciary. ????When 16% of the global population is composed of young people, UNESCO reaffirmed its commitment to this group by providing training to the G20 youth delegates through the UNESCO MGIEP to empower youth. ??As the lead agency for the Ocean Decade, UNESCO is supporting the G20 through implementation of Marine Spatial Planning Frameworks that balance ocean conservation and economic development. UNESCO is looking forward to partnering with the #G20Brasil for the #G20Social Summit. Charaf Ahmimed #UNESCO
