A big shoutout to all the teams behind the scenes that made our 2025 SEPC Southern Exposure show a success! Our Sales and Marketing team members were on the floor featuring the delicious Cosmic Crisp? and Pink Lady? apple crop and getting everyone excited for cherry season. #SEPCSouthernExposure ?? ?? ??

With submissions closed for the 2025 Farmworker of the Year award put on by The Packer and the Equitable Food Initiative, we look back at last year’s outstanding Stemilter who made it as a finalist nominee, Andres Aguilar! Andres has always been there for his team helping them learn new skills and passing on his knowledge in the orchard, even in the face of life’s challenges he perseveres. Way to go Andres!

We’ve been EFI certified since 2021, and now have 9 fully trained teams who meet on a monthly basis to work on continuous improvement projects, and each person plays a unique role. Last week we had the honor of interviewing Stemilt’s farm workers to learn what makes them proud to be on Stemilt’s EFI Leadership Team with this amazing group of women from Equitable Food Initiative and Once Upon a Farm. As we near Farmworker Awareness Week at the end of the month, we look forward to sharing their stories with you!
