Partner w/ educators to foster future workforce skills. Educators understand the skills that are required for the workforce of today & tomorrow. AI-Powered Learning: Discover how AI personalizes learning, from Tennessee State's open education resources to IXL's data-driven platform to MIT's RAISE Initiative for social good, and so much more. The Future of AI in Education: AI can equip students with critical thinking and empower them as digital citizens. AR/VR in the Classroom: From Prisms that uses AR/VR to enhance sutdent learning in math & science to the University of Houston's program that uses AR/VR to train teachers and boost STEM education! (Bonus: Increased student motivation!) The Changing Landscape: Experts discussed the shift to interconnected learning experiences, technology integration challenges, and leadership perspectives. (Remember, break down subject silos!) AI for Action: The SREB is leading the charge in developing responsible AI integration strategies for K-12 and higher ed. (Focus on pedagogy, not just gadgets!) Student Involvement: The Technology Student Assocation shared their program that allows students to become explores, problem solvers, & critical thinkers. (Future leaders!) Leadership Development: The STEM Happens Network explored how AI can assist in the teaching & learning process. Action Planning: Together we explored how to move the work forward by utilizing the learning of the week. It was a jam packed week, full of engaging learning and networking. Plus, we met an astronaut! Conversations are already transpiring. I am excited for what is next. As we heard when at Space Center Houston "one small step for man (humans), one giant leap for mankind (humankind)"~ Neil Armstrong.
