Steffes Group, Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in the auction industry, engaged in the business of marketing farm equipment, construction equipment, and real estate at public auction. Historically, the company has focused on the agricultural sector but has a solid foundation in the sale of real estate at auction as well. Steffes has used their reputation and credibility to continually expand trade area, market volume and market expertise. The company was founded in 1960 by Robert Steffes who primarily did farm and livestock selling. In 1984 the business incorporated and moved all business operations to Fargo, North Dakota. From that time forward the company has experienced a continued significant growth pattern and an expansion of its services. As a result of Steffes' reputation, experience and consistent performance, we have consistently been an industry leader in selling real and personal property at auction. We expect significant growth and expanded market opportunities on a national basis as service, reputation and performance becomes even more critical in the demanding and competitive marketplace.     ? Employee Spotlight ? Meet David Yoder, one of our Sales Representatives covering eastern Kansas! David started with Steffes Group in October 2023 and calls Hutchinson, KS, home. As a Sales Representative, he enjoys building relationships and working alongside farmers across Kansas. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandkids, fishing, and hunting. He has been involved and served his local community for over 20 years with his local fire department and currently serves as the Chief, leading 25 local volunteers serving their community! Thank you for all you do, David!

  • ? Employee Spotlight ? Meet Zach Pokrzywinski, one of our Setup Coordinators at our West Fargo, ND, location! Zach started with Steffes Group in September 2018. In his role, he leads our wash crew, ensures equipment is photo-ready, organizes auctions in lot order, and assists with loadout after auctions. Originally from Fargo, ND, he still resides there with his wife, Jenna, and their two children, Claire and Leo. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family = whether it's sledding, enjoying park visits, relaxing by backyard fires, taking road trips to visit family, or spending time at the lake.   • ? Employee Spotlight ? Meet Andrea Jansen, our Sales Tax Specialist! Originally from Hudson, SD, she now lives in Sioux Falls, SD. She started with Steffes Group in June 2024, and in her role, she is responsible for all things sales and use tax. She ensures compliance with tax laws by applying tax to auctions, overseeing exemption certificates, and filing returns in the states where we operate. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, playing cards, and being outside! Thanks for all you do, Andrea!
