This Climate Week, we are proud of the meaningful progress our teams have made toward our decarbonization goals. In 2023, we achieved our 2025 steel mills' Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity goal and 2025 steel mills' renewable electrical energy goal ahead of schedule. Steel Dynamics Tour de Plants riders began the over 300-mile, 3-day bicycle “tour” of SDI’s Indiana steel operations today. The charity partner this year is Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, supporting those affected by cancer.
