STEAMpark is an educational 501(c)(3) corporation organized in 2017 in Rumson, NJ. We provide educational, social-emotional and wellness programming that enables all children to develop 21st century skills, become life-long learners, and reach full potential, regardless of zip code or family income. STEAMpark's innovative curriculum guides young students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM), prompting creativity, problem solving and critical thinking. Our approach offers equity and inclusion for all kids everywhere. Our curriculum focuses on literacy, math, science and coding. Adding art to the original STEM framework, this program is uniquely structured to teach children how to ask questions, read fluently, solve problems, develop computer skills, and mentor each other. STEAMpark is focused on scalable and impactful hybrid online and offline after-school and summer programs for kids in need. We partner with schools and local community centers to find and engage students and create a holistic approach to serving those students. Studies show that STEAM based education helps students develop skills for the future. Through interactive, interdisciplinary learning, children become inspired, imagining endless possibilities as they prepare for a rapidly changing world.

    I'm super excited to announce our new yet-to-be-named Youtube series where we chat with educators about their experience with Pickcode!     Back in 2017, Ryan Zacharcyzk and his team at Zynergy Retirement Planning found out we were starting an educational nonprofit to support kids in low income communities with academic enrichment in a safe space after school (STEAMpark ?? ) and they asked "How can we help?" From that moment on, they've been supporting our programs all across the state of New Jersey- always being there when we need support. They're especially amazing during the holidays! Each year, they adopt about a dozen of our most at-risk young STEAMpark families to help them all have a nice Christmas (or whatever holiday they celebrate). Armed with loads of info about where each family is on their journey, the Zynergy Cares Foundation buys and wraps huge bags of gifts for every child, from 0-18 yrs old, plus they give gift cards to grocery stores, nonperishable food, and sometimes even heaters and pots and pans, etc. These kids winter coats, underwear, bedding in their favorite color, cool new shoes, whatever they need!! We're the lucky ones who get to deliver the goodies, so we get the feelies - it's a profound feeling to see the smiles and sometimes happy tears of moms, grandmas, dads, ... no words. ?? ?? ?? ANYWAY!! Ryan, Michela, and team, thank you for all that you do. We're grateful to have you in our corner.

    As we reach the end of the year 2024, I want to thank our Board of Trustees, our STEAMpark, INC. staff and teachers, our supporters that spent their time building content, volunteered online and onsite and parents who enabled their children to learn and build their STEM fundamentals with us. Here is an excerpt that I presented at the end of fall semester of STEM fair attended by the #STEMgirls and their parents. It is a pleasure to be here with all of you today to talk about something truly close to my heart—empowering young girls through science-based learning. At STEAMpark, INC. Inc., our mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire and equip the next generation of women leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics—fields that have long been underrepresented by girls and women. We believe that science is not just a subject in school; it's a tool for unlocking creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. When girls are introduced to STEM concepts at an early age, they begin to see themselves not just as learners, but as doers, creators, and innovators. Science-based learning builds critical thinking skills, fosters curiosity, and encourages girls to question, explore, and invent—building the foundation for future success. But it’s not just about knowledge—it's about confidence. At STEAMpark, we are committed to helping girls believe in their potential, to feel supported in their learning, and to know that their ideas matter. By providing hands-on, engaging experiences, and interaction with role models from high school @teenboard members to university professors and drug development scientists, we enable them to take risks, make mistakes, and grow. We want every girl to feel empowered to pursue her dreams, whether she envisions herself as an engineer, a mathematician, a coder, a doctor, an artist, or a scientist. Together, we can change the narrative. Let’s inspire our girls to see the world of science as a world of opportunity, where they belong, where they can excel, and where they can make a lasting impact
