We are excited to welcome Matrix Development Group back as a member of SIEDC. Yesterday, our team had the pleasure of hosting a lunch meeting with Joseph Taylor, President & CEO of Matrix Development Group, along with Tonio Burgos and Eric Fischer from Tonio Burgos and Associates. As one of the Northeast's leading real estate and development firms, Matrix has established a strong presence on Staten Island through Matrix Global Logistics Park, which has provided build-to-suit facilities for major retail companies on the west shore. SIEDC looks forward to continuing our support as Matrix pursues new economic development initiatives in the community.

Whether you own a business, live in, near, or work in an industrial area on Staten Island, SIEDC urges you to take a few minutes today to make your voice heard and complete the Industrial Plan survey: https://lnkd.in/eNJEtM86 ????? With industrial areas encompassing local businesses, human capital, and economic development on the borough's west, south, and north shore regions, your perspective is needed. The fate of these areas will influence virtually every aspect of Staten Islanders' environment, from nearby neighborhoods and traffic to even air quality. The survey findings will help inform the Industrial Plan, the City’s long-term guide for building a modern, sustainable, and growing industrial economy. This plan will be developed by the NYC Department of City Planning (DCP), the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS). If you filled out the survey, let SIEDC know! Contact IBZ Program Manager Jay Anderson at [email protected].
