The Wisconsin Supreme Court approved the petition to increase the annual lawyer fee for the Public Interest Legal Services Fund by $50 in two increments. The State Bar shared with the court its members' views (largely in opposition) to the petition and argued that only the Legislature can properly fund civil legal aid.
