Judges and their families continued a proud tradition this month, marching in Milwaukee’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the Milwaukee Trial Judges Association. The annual event brings together circuit, appellate, and retired judges—rain, snow, or shine—before wrapping up with a well-earned stop for corned beef and camaraderie.

A few weeks ago I got to help out with the Mock Trial semi-finals at the Dane County Courthouse. It was great being surrounded by so much excitement - it rubs off on you. Also, I met some awesome new folks like Ariella Schreiber. This year was the first year for the courtroom sketch artists. All of the artwork is on display at the State Bar Center.
