Throughout high school, Matt worked in various restaurants, and later obtained a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Southern Mississippi. For 13 years, he worked for a food service company, assisting restaurant owners in growing their businesses. "My previous role fueled my entrepreneurial spirit, and I found satisfaction in the success of others. A conversation with my good friend, who happened to be a State Farm agent, made me realize the similarities between our careers: helping people achieve their goals and protecting what is important to them."
