The State Library of Iowa has a unique opportunity for a temporary Masters-level Social Work Group Facilitator to join our grant-funded program. This initiative aims to equip public library staff and administrators with the skills and support needed to effectively serve high-needs patrons, including those facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, housing instability, and poverty-related issues. ?? Role Overview: *Lead six bimonthly support groups (12 meetings/month) for urban and rural library staff and administrators. *Become certified as an adult and youth Mental Health First Aid trainer (training provided) and conduct at least 20 sessions over two years (10 virtual and 10 in-person). *Collaborate on developing resources for other library systems. ??
