What were you doing at 24? Rep. Tara Hong of?Lowell is two months into his first session after beating out five-term incumbent Democrat Rady Mom in the 18th Middlesex District last year. In a recent conversation with?MASSterList, Hong discussed his transition into the State House, his legislative priorities, and how he's approaching his new role.

This was a metza-metza showing by me, actually (live TV-good days and bad days), but kudos to Channel 5 for remaining the kind of news source where viewers can still learn about the existence of the National Governors Association, and our governor's trip there, even while Ch. 5 is doing the mega-snowstorm-coverage thing.? Only thing we didn't get to was the House's legal fees to fend off audits… which we can't quantify because… those financial details are exempt from the open records law.?

Unlike platforms that rely on algorithms and keyword limits—often draining your budget while delivering out-of-state applicants—MASSterList reaches 29,000+ college-educated professionals who live and work right here in Massachusetts. Nurses on the front lines of Massachusetts' healthcare system have contended with high patient loads, workplace violence, and hospital management concerns for years—issues they say consistently create a challenging work environment and which researchers point to as a major cause of workforce shortages in the industry. In a recent conversation with MASSterList, Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) President Katie Murphy, a full-time ICU nurse at Brigham and Women's Hospital, spoke about the state of nursing in Massachusetts, MNA's session priorities, and how the scope of the industry has changed over almost half a century.?

With the Legislature just adjourned sine dine, it's a good time to look back... and a good way to do it is the Story of the Week in the SHNS Weekly Roundup as the year unfolded. We've compiled a list, and posted it at the Massachusetts Almanac. It's infotaining... https://lnkd.in/er-XsmNA

Make your events more accessible by over-communicating "basic" information! Even if only a few attendees use it, everyone benefits from universal access. - Clearly promote and encourage accommodation requests - Provide a video/virtual tour of the high-touch areas/arrival flow - Offer clear instructions for locating restrooms Check out this example from a recent event reminder email I sent for State House News Service:
