Last week in Detroit, we came together for something truly special - our first-ever consumption event, but more importantly, a night dedicated to hope, change, and second chances.
?
High Minded has recently joined forces with Dr. Topeka K. Sam’s organization, The Ladies Of Hope Ministries (LOHM), to champion second chances for women through their E.P.I.C. mission to End Poverty & InCarceration. Together, we raised awareness and funds to support their vital work in breaking the cycles of poverty and incarceration for women in need.
This event also marked the launch of EPIC Kush, our new philanthropy strain and product line, where proceeds go to The LOHM. We also collaborated with the Prison Creative Arts Program at the University of Michigan, providing a powerful platform for previously incarcerated artists to share their art. Their work filled the room, not just on the walls, but in every note played, every word spoken, and every person who stopped to listen. We also sold merchandise commissioned by three incarcerated artists, with all proceeds benefitting The LOHM.

This night was more than an event, it was a movement. A testament to the power of community, of lifting each other up, and of cannabis as a force for change. To everyone who showed up, supported, and made this possible...thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are what makes this work EPIC! ?? ??
