We picked up the noodles this past Monday at the ferry terminal, and we took the ferry to our new home on the island. It took Ramen no time to adapt to island living—he is living his best life sunbathing and running on the beach. Udon was a bit more anxious and it took her a couple days to come around. But she is now busy exploring her new home. Thank you so much for all your help along the way. Over the past few weeks, we've watched as LA and surrounding areas have faced devastating fires that have destroyed homes and disrupted lives. Sadly, pets have also been deeply affected. We've been in close contact with people on the ground, looking for ways to help. This week, with the support of our friends @pet_express_us, we donated $1,000 worth of kitty litter, food, treats, and other supplies to a shelter caring for rescue animals left behind as families fled. We're committed to continuing our support for animals and families in need. On the human side, we're relieved that our LA driver, Josh, is safe after having to evacuate when a fire approached his home last week. Thankfully, he's back and out of danger. As a team who has faced the aftermath of hurricanes, we’ve seen firsthand how communities come together in times of crisis. It's inspiring to witness the kindness and care people show during such challenging times. Our thoughts are with everyone who has lost their homes, pets, or loved ones in these fires. ??
