???? What an incredible evening at our Pitch Night event last Friday! ???? We had the pleasure of witnessing some truly innovative ideas from passionate, forward-thinking entrepreneurs, all working to make an impact in their respective industries. A big congratulations to our winners, Michael and James Gallagher, co-founders of Rituil, a sustainable fitness and wellness brand committed to making wellness practices more eco-friendly. ???? Their vision and commitment to sustainability truly stood out, and we can't wait to see how Rituil grows! We'd also like to give a special shoutout to Vanessa Frias of Willows Brook Farms, who won the People's Choice Award and took home $1,000! ???? Their dedication to sustainable agriculture and community-building efforts resonated with the audience in a big way. Kalamazoo is a great place to be!! It is growing into a place where all resources needed to turn a founder's dream into reality are available right here. Startup Zoo under the leadership of Carl Brown and Jasmine Childress hosted an inspiring, power packed event this afternoon in the Catalyst Center at Southwest Michigan First complex in Downtown Kalamazoo. Southwest Michigan Entrepreneurship Summit 2024 brought in 50+ founders and entrepreneurs to share their bright ideas, their innovative products, their challenges and wins and their ‘Why’ and dreams, with rest of us. It was awe-inspiring! Guest presentations and panel discussions provided so much learning and growth and it was a perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon!! I am so fired up by the energy of so many smart and passionate individuals I had the privilege to be in same room with and interact!! Entrepreneurship takes courage, patience and commitment!
