We are Central Florida’s only 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on accelerating tech and tech-enabled startups. We support founders through the early-stages of a startup, from validating their idea, developing an MVP or Prototype, building the infrastructure of a sustainable business, through first customer / first revenue, to preparing to meet with investors for pre-seed funding. We provide three world-class accelerator programs that offer tech founders the opportunity to learn the skills, competencies and business disciplines that help them address and mitigate the top 20 reasons 2 out of 3 tech startups fail in their first five years. The programs also provide founders with highly skilled coaches and subject matter experts, as well as personal introductions and connections into the broader tech ecosystem. We prepare pre-seed-ready starters to attract outside funding while also investing in eligible pre-seed-stage accelerator graduates through our own evergreen fund. StarterStudio is supported by donors and local governments as a stimulus to economic development and high-wage jobs.

Our Director of Programming, Bob Reed, participated as one of nine judges at last weekend’s East Regional Finals - VCIC (Venture Capital Investment Competition). This competition gives students the chance to be VCs for the day and allows startups get an immersion in the fundraising process. Congratulations to all of the teams who competed!
I am excited to share that Warrington Ventures Inc. at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business has successfully hosted its second annual East Regional Finals - VCIC (Venture Capital Investment Competition) this past weekend. The Venture Capital Investment Competition is the world's largest venture capital competition, where students get to be VCs for the day and startups get an immersion in the fundraising process. With the help of the Finance Professional Development Program at UF, Warrington Ventures had the opportunity to host 9 incredible judges and 2 diligent founders from all over the country. We welcomed 6 universities from the Eastern Region: John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship, Elon University - Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration, American University - Kogod School of Business, Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, and Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. We congratulate each and every team for their dedication and hard work, and wish Miami University the best of luck at the Global Finals. Thank you to all of the participants in this event that made the day possible, and a special thank you to co-organizers at Warrington Ventures- Vinay Krishnadas, Abhishek Kundalia, and Aahan Jandir.
