A note we received on Instagram from Kansas City Public Schools after seeing Journey To Oz at Starlight last week: "Our elementary students had a blast seeing Starlight's "Journey To Oz'! For many of them, this was their first in-person theatre experience." We're honored to be these kids' first foray into the world of theatre. Each $2,500 Vincent Legacy Scholarship is administered by the Starlight Community Engagement Department, and funds are applied to the scholarship recipients’ performing arts training during their middle and high school years. Earlier this month, we began work out at Starlight in Kansas City, MO as a part of their #UniquelyKC campaign, which includes multiple campus improvements. To kick things off, our LTM 1100-4.2 was on site dismantling the existing walkway canopy to make room for what will eventually be the footings of a new and improved canopy over the stage and lower seating areas.
