Dr. Kate Sinks, the Center’s Director of Audiology, visited the global headquarters of Starkey Hearing in Eden Prairie, MN. The four-day training event featured lectures from industry leaders in artificial intelligence design and clinical specialists, as well as tours of the manufacturing and research facilities. Attendees also gained personal experience using the devices in complex listening environments. Dr. Sinks returned with new knowledge and a deep appreciation for the incredible advancements designed to help the Center’s patients communicate more effectively. She looks forward to utilizing this technology to improve their quality of life.
