  • Did you know that C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia) and J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings) were part of a small, informal writing group called The Inklings? They met every week—not just to give feedback on each other’s work, but to think, discuss, and encourage one another. For years, Tolkien considered Lewis his only real audience. He once said: ?“Only from him did I ever get the idea that my ‘stuff’ could be more than a private hobby… If it weren’t for his constant encouragement and enthusiasm, I probably wouldn’t have finished The Lord of the Rings.” As time passed, life changed.
