Had a blast pouring beers for hundreds of Texas' top entrepreneurs and investors at the Texas Venture Fest last week! Shoutout to The Red Fridge Society for providing such a great venue in downtown Austin. We'll be back!
Whew. That was festive indeed. We had a few hundred of our closest friends come chill with us at the Texas Venture Fest. It was especially fantastic thanks to our VC partners BuildGroup, FirstMile Ventures, Ballistic Ventures, iFly.vc, Restive Ventures, The Venture Build, International Accelerator, Ionic Partners, and MC3 Ventures, as well as our delicious partners Fareground Food Hall, Tenneyson, Starbase Brewing, and LALO Tequila.

Last week we sponsored our first event outside of Texas — the All-In Summit (from the hosts of the All-In Podcast) in Los Angeles! Stoked to announce our first-ever scientific research partnership with Texas A&M University! This project involves mixing brewing grains into Mars soil and Moon soil (a.k.a. Martian and Lunar regolith simulant) to test if it makes it easier to grow crops! At first, most food on Mars will be brought along on the journey or grown via hydroponics, but this could eventually be one way to make the soil on other planets more habitable! As far as we know, this is the first scientific research project ever that involves the brewing process on another planet. Stay tuned for the results when we have them! We also have some more research projects in the works with different universities and organizations that will be announced soon. And if you have an idea for a project involving beer in space or on other planets, please reach out!
