We have several members of STARability Foundation's Trailblazers program training to become Dalton Discovery Center volunteers and assisting with other activities (like washing our field vehicles) around campus. They have been volunteering with us since July and have completed most of the DDC trainings, including the touch-tank. They have also assisted with showing props to visitors during DDC morning talks/presentations. Thank you Trailblazers for making a profound difference on our campus and being helpful volunteers! About STARability: STARability is a regional organization that offers programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Foundation’s Trailblazer Academy provides participants with individualized attention and a broad range of support to engage in lifelong learning. Through enriching experiences and building new relationships and skills, the program supports finding new ways to being a valued part of the community.
