🔦 Smart Lighting + Life Safety: Lutron Vive with ELIs at the Data Center 🚨 We recently implemented the Lutron Vive wireless lighting control system at the data center—and integrated it with Emergency Lighting Interfaces (ELIs) for seamless life safety compliance. This single, unified system not only delivers flexible and energy-efficient lighting, but also ensures that in the event of a power outage or fire alarm, designated emergency lights are automatically forced ON to maintain safe egress paths. Key Benefits: Wireless Control & Scalability: Easy to install, expand, and reconfigure as the facility evolves. Energy Efficiency: Occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, and scheduling help reduce consumption. Code Compliance & Safety: ELIs integrated with the fire alarm system guarantee emergency lighting kicks in when it’s needed most. With this being a data center, redundancy is key, so the ELIs are installed to bring lighting levels up to 100 percent in the event of an emergency. 🔥 Load Bank Delivery Has Begun! ⚡ We’ve just started receiving forty 265kW load banks to the data center site—an exciting step forward as we gear up for load bank test sequencing. These load banks will play a vital role in verifying system performance, stability, and redundancy before we go live. They allow us to simulate real-world electrical loads on our generators, UPS systems, and switchgear to ensure everything performs exactly as designed under full demand. These particular load banks will be hooked up to the RPPs. These components play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted power delivery to protect sensitive equipment and maintain uptime in the event of power disruptions. The battery racks are precisely engineered to house and support the battery systems securely and efficiently, enabling scalability and ease of maintenance. The batteries, designed for high performance and reliability, will provide the immediate power needed to bridge the gap during outages until the generators kick in.
