LA TECHWEEK & STANFORD ANGELS ?? Last night's Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs of Southern California event, part of #LATechWeek, was an unforgettable experience! For the second time, we were graciously hosted at?Stanford alumni Juan David Borrero's?stunning Brentwood Hills home, with breathtaking views stretching from the canyons to the ocean. The evening was filled with lively discussions, new connections, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests enjoyed freshly prepared sushi alongside a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, perfectly complementing the vibrant conversations. Our first tennis event ever held at the legendary The Riviera Country Club where we had our Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs of SoCal tennis live ball event as part of LA Techweek. Thanks to?Shelton Wilder?for hosting and goodfin, with female founder Anna Joo Fee for cosponsoring. Truly unbelievable event. Pics by Marshall Bennett, our club VP Marketing. Shout out to Bradley Klahn, another leftie who played for Stanford and went pro. He won the 2010 NCAA Singles Championships as a sophomore. His next year as a junior, he was a finalist in the NCAA Doubles. We had 2 courts, and a small reception after with 10 more alum. This event started with one court, but thanks to Shelton we moved it to a larger venue at the beautiful Riviera. Other college players included the legendary Clay Thompson, UCLA. Fantastic pros Buster and JC led live ball. Next year we will plan a larger event. ? #LATechWeek ?#tennis?
