The Spirit House exhibition not only celebrates artistic expression but also inspires reflection on our personal and professional journeys in healthcare. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy, understanding, and connection in the care we provide. ? The APP Fellowship Program at Stanford Health Care is accredited with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a transition to practice program. Stanford's Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program offers fully benefitted 12-month positions designed to provide post-graduate training to new Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who wish to transition into specialty care; and to experienced APPs who wish to transition to administration. Our goal is to provide support and training during transition to practice, allowing APP Fellows to build confidence and knowledge in the clinical specialties of Cancer Care and Cardiothoracic Surgery, and the leadership speciality of Administration. The Fellowship teaches the core competencies for specialty certification and offers the opportunity for APPs to gain in-depth exposure to complex specialty care and systems. Clinical APP Fellows work with diverse teams of providers focused on specific patient populations through Stanford's inpatient and outpatient settings. Administrative APP Fellows work with diverse leadership teams focused on operations and quality improvement throughout the organization.

Our comprehensive program is designed for both new APPs transitioning into specialty care and experienced APPs advancing into administrative leadership roles. Here are the highlights: ???Elika R., Administration Fellow:?Presented the "APP Student Preceptor Inventory Report (ASPIRe)" to optimize student-preceptor matching. This Lean Six Sigma initiative tackles the preceptor shortage with an improved database, workflows, and retention solutions to enhance future provider development. ???William Reeves, PA-C, Electrophysiology Fellow:?Developed the "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" protocol for managing atrial fibrillation. This initiative reduces unnecessary ED visits, empowers nurses with clear guidelines, and enhances patient care and access through standardized procedures and APP visits. ???Ryland Roderick, PA-C, Electrophysiology Fellow:?Introduced "EASI as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5," which utilizes 5-lead telemetry to generate 12-lead ECGs.
