Refined geometries and repetition reverberate like poetry through this landscape. #ThrowbackThursday to Beverly Hills Residence completed with Standard Architecture | Design. The half-acre urban lot required a complete redesign from being crowded and overgrown. Every site intervention was approached as art, creating sculptural equilibrium among all components and creating exterior rooms as an extension of the architecture. The project was a winner of a 2016 Beverly Hills Design Award.

Creating Family Compound ?? We’re incredibly grateful to share the Canyon House in the November 2024 Cities print issue of ELLE DECOR! https://lnkd.in/g7xyJ28h Thank you to everyone involved! This project is especially meaningful to us as our visionary clients invited us to create a magical compound nestled in a quiet canyon off Coldwater Canyon for use by their family of three generations, entertaining on a grand scale, and to relax with friends. The incredible collaboration with wonderful Eric Hughes Design truly made the project sing. None of the hard work of the talented team of designers, makers, and craftspeople including magical Matthew Brown Landscape and the outstanding Valle Reinis Builders would have come to light without the unbelievable team at @elledecor. We’re so incredibly thankful for the support and vision by @as4d, @ingridabram, @bebehoworth, and the beautifully insightful story by Max Berlinger.
