Exciting updates at the Gem Theatre! ????? The plaster renovations are almost complete, these pictures showcase the before and after of some sections of the theatre ceilings. We are excited to begin the paint process here shortly!

Congratulations to Brandon Borleis and his team for another successful paint project. Big Blue Swim School recently opened their first Charlotte area location, and Stancil Commercial completed the paint scope on this 10,000 square foot location. Interior pools provide a huge challenge due to humidity and chemicals breaking down the paint. The decking and duct work over the pool required a three-part coating system that consisted of an Industrial acrylic primer, followed by an intermediate coat of Industrial water-based epoxy, and topcoated with an Industrial water-based polyurethane. Jamie Hoover and his wife Susan Hoover represented Stancil Commercial at the Second Annual Casino Night benefitting Charlie’s Champions. CHARLIES CHAMPIONS FOUNDATION is a non-profit organization that supports local families dealing with cancer. Gibson Mills was a great venue for a wonderful night that included dinner, raffles, a silent auction of some great items, and of course some casino fun. We can’t wait until next year’s event.
