Congratulations to our St?mmer of the Week, Tom Massare! An industrial designer passionate about blending software and hands-on prototyping, Tomás recently led the design of a new adherent cell growth platform setup. By integrating Quality by Design (QbD) principles, he ensured that usability and simplicity were part of the process from the start—critical for scalability and efficiency in biomanufacturing. Tomás also leverages tools like our metrotom to ensure the precision of our bubble-free bioreactors (BfB), verifying volumes for adherent cell scale-up. His meticulous work and design language impact the future of the product as a whole. Thank you, Tomás, for pushing new boundaries at St?mm!

Congratulations to our St?mmer of the Week, Marina Pochat! At St?mm, protecting our data is more than a technical need. It's a commitment to our partners and every team member who relies on our secure systems. Marina and our IT team guard our information, setting up a safe digital environment to protect our innovations. Being sovereign over our data keeps our intellectual property safe in-house. Her team is the invisible force that keeps our digital ecosystem running. They manage cybersecurity protocols and oversee app administration to maintain our data centers. Their work implies coordinating 200 workstations, implementing workflows, and responding to daily needs. All while configuring new apps and setting up secure systems for collaboration. Marina tackles each task with patience, empathy, and practical knowledge. She’s present daily to listen, guide, and make sure every St?mmer has what they need. Thank you, Marina, for your dedication to keeping us connected, safe, and running!

Congratulations to our St?mmer of the Week, Alejandra Inés Aguirre! 3D printing at high resolution and in large volumes is no easy feat, especially with the limitations of commercial software and printers. But Alejandra, C?ster’s team leader, has taken us a step further. To develop our bioreactors, inspired by nature’s intricate microvascular channels, Alejandra guided her team to integrate simulations into our 3D modeling and slicing software. These simulations allow us to predict and understand fluid dynamics within our bioreactors, enabling us to optimize designs before we even begin physical testing. This in-silico approach not only saves resources but also helps refine bioreactor geometries, ensuring quality and efficiency from the outset. By enabling each team member to independently test and refine the designs, Alejandra’s leadership has streamlined our process and facilitated innovation. Her focus on collaboration and forward-thinking is pivotal in advancing our technology. Thank you, Alejandra, for inspiring our team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement that brings us closer to our mission every day!
