Hooray for the 62nd year! As mentioned in the article, celebrating a 62nd year is not a typical thing...but for Stage 62 Theatre Company, it's a big deal! I'm proud to be serving on the board for a 3rd year and hope to be back on stage before the year is up ?? We've got 3 more shows coming up in the Pittsburgh area: "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," "Rent," & "Cinderella"...not to mention a special anniversary show later in the year - can't wait!
We are so grateful to the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council for their support and we can't wait to put it to good use as we continue creating art in Carnegie!
NEW: We're thrilled to announce the 30 Southwestern Pennsylvania arts organizations that have been awarded a grant as part of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts’ Creative Sector Flex Fund program. Grantees include a studio for adult artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, an organization celebrating traditional West African dance, a film archive and cinema preserving and exhibiting Pittsburgh’s film history, a choir affirming LGBTQIA+ voices, a space providing enrichment opportunities for emerging comedians, and more.
