Over the last three months, Jesus Andrade Gomez has accomplished something we’ve never seen before—perfect marks in both production and quality, making him our first-ever 100% / 100% employee for an entire quarter. And he didn’t take the easy route to get there. Jesus worked in every cell during this time, adapting to different tasks and challenges while maintaining performance. On top of that, he ranked in the top three for total hours worked, proving his dedication and work ethic day in and day out. Jesus has set the standard for consistency and versatility. Last week, members of our fabrication production team had the opportunity to visit the Wauwatosa East Construction Capstone class to teach a conduit bending workshop. A special highlight was seeing Steve Tiru return to the very class he was in just last year—this time as an instructor, helping to guide the next group of tradespeople. Shoutout to Cody, May, and Sadie for winning the box offset competition! This past week at Advancing Prefabrication 2025, Jim Wallner and Jeremy Poppy had the opportunity to lead a session on Integrating the Field into Your Fabrication Workflow. They shared insights on improving communication between fabrication and field teams to create a smoother, more efficient process. Alongside other industry leaders, they participated in sessions ranging from profitability and schedule alignment to quality control in BIM and optimizing trade partner collaboration. These discussions provided a chance to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore new ways to improve fabrication workflows across the industry. It’s through these conversations and shared experiences that we continue to refine our processes and better support all Staff Electric project teams.
