This week we teamed up with American Red Cross of Wisconsin and held a blood drive at our Milwaukee location. This year's Building Advantage Construction Career Fair was one for the books! We're incredibly grateful for all of the schools, students, union trades, contractors, industry organizations and local leaders that supported and participated in our annual career fair at Fiserv Forum. A record-breaking 1,200 juniors and seniors from 48 schools learned about #earnwhileyoulearn careers in the building trades while participating in fun, hands-on activities. Building Advantage is proud to showcase the value of union registered apprenticeships and the transformative impact careers in the building trades have on individuals and the communities we support. Staff Electric attended the Building Advantage Construction Career Fair and engaged with future talent in the construction industry. Last week Friday we held a safety lunch at Northwestern Mutual to emphasize the importance of workplace safety. 🦺 Our discussion focused on the necessity of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, a necessary measure to prevent accidents and injuries. We also stressed the importance of taking care of one another and the responsibility we have to speak up if we notice unsafe conditions. Thank you to everyone who attended the safety lunch. Happy Halloween from Staff Electric! 🎃🦇 Today we celebrated with costumes and a soup contest. The top 3 soups were: 1st: Liam Maag with a cheesy soup 2nd: Cyndi Busse with a loaded potato soup 3rd: Janelle with another delicious, loaded potato soup Our winner for best individual costume was John Modrzynski as Han Solo, and the best department costume went to accounting as the seven dwarfs.
