Trinity Metro Builds on TEXRail’s Success with Stadler Fleet Expansion Stadler and Trinity Metro signed a contract today for four additional Stadler DMU FLIRT vehicles. The trains will join an existing Stadler DMU FLIRT fleet, which has successfully been in operation in Fort Worth since 2019. ? “We have a strong partnership with Trinity Metro, that goes back to 2016. STADLER IS GROWING IN SALT LAKE CITY Today, we broke ground for our new facility expansion here in Salt Lake City! We are excited to be able to double our manufacturing footprint here and soon provide additional jobs for Utahns! This extension stage consists of two additional assembly halls by the existing hall. In addition, we are building a welding hall, which will allow us to start manufacturing aluminum car bodies at Stadler US.

STADLER AND UTA SIGN CONTRACT FOR NEW TRAX TRAINS Today, Stadler and Utah Transit Authority held a signing ceremony for an order of up to 80 new TRAX trains for Salt Lake City! As announced by Stadler and UTA on October 23rd, Stadler is set to build the vehicles at its Salt Lake City manufacturing site – proudly built in Utah for Utah. This is a major accomplishment for Stadler in the US, as it is the first time we are building revenue service trains our US home state of Utah!? ? “Building streetcars for Salt Lake City is another milestone for Stadler. The UTA order is the?first light rail order in the United States for Stadler and the first large Citylink order outside the European continent. We are convinced that the Citylink will be well received by?customers here,” says Stadler CEO Markus Bernsteiner.?? ?? “Salt Lake City is our home in the U.S., and the opportunity to build trains for our community?is a massive honor.
