Completed Phase 1 of the Schell City, Osage Pump Station for Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and Ducks Unlimited! This pump station will pull water from the Osage River, flooding the fields for duck hunting in the Schell-Osage Conservation Area. Proud to be part of this milestone in conservation and wetland restoration!

Here’s a look at one of two 4000A services installed for the switchgear at our newest Cold Storage project. This shot highlights the (24) 4” conduits running from the utility transformer and generator to the main switchgear, as well as the feeder conduits leading out to power all subpanels for half of the future building. Thanks to our shop's prefabrication, we were able to get all this conduit into the ground in a single day, including dig time!

Kruse has invaded Arrowhead Stadium! While Kruse has worked on smaller jobs for the Kansas City Chiefs over the years, we just wrapped up two incredible jobs in a 6-week window ahead of schedule and just in time for kickoff. Our first was a profound renovation, converting a storage area into the new Chiefs Café that now feeds 300 staff members at a time, including the players. With Turner Construction Company, Kruse supplied all mechanical and plumbing tie-ins for a high-demand professional kitchen. The real event for this was the exhaust hoods. With the tall design of the building, there was twenty feet between the subceiling and the roof. Our solution was to build the risers on-site and drop the ductwork in through the roof via crane. Huge thanks to our plumbing foreman Kyle Allen and ductwork foreman Eric Nissen for providing creative solutions in such a tight timeframe. Right alongside this work, Kruse was also supplying the first ever HVAC service on the Chiefs practice facility. This comprised two enormous air turnover units that required two equally enormous ductwork risers to supply and circulate fresh and conditioned air. This exceptional sizing was fulfilled via our second-to-none fabrication shop in Wichita, providing rapid turnover and a product the Chiefs can trust for the long-haul. Huge shoutout to Staco Electric Construction Co and Olsson + Associates, our duct foreman Chris Duarte, and Kyle Allen working as plumbing foreman for this job also. We’ve had a relationship with the Chiefs for a couple of years now. Starting off with small projects like building a refrigerated cooler box for a concession stand and replacing the washer and dryer for their engineering building, this relationship has grown into the type of work that lets our workers point to Arrowhead Stadium and say, “I worked on THAT.” We’re excited to work with the Chiefs’ Project Director of MEP and Construction Patrick Mitchell, PMP as the preferred mechanical contractor for the Kansas City Chiefs and look forward to a killer season with the preferred football team of Kruse Corporation. We’re proud to have provided full electrical scope for Sano Orthopedics' new 20,000 SF ground-up surgery center on the first floor and physical therapy on the second at 11340 Nall Ave. From power distribution and lighting to security and fire alarm systems, we ensured a seamless installation to meet the highest standards.
