St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is a leading provider of community services to people suffering from the effects of hunger, homelessness, and poverty in the Baltimore region. We provide thousands of people with resources to help them move beyond the challenges of poverty and achieve their full potential - offering support and stability through food, shelter and access to a variety of services. Each year we serve over 1,000,000 meals, provide over 50,000 shelter nights, and help thousands of individuals and families with housing and job placement.

With deep sorrow, St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore mourns the passing of Pope Francis. His life was a beacon for compassion, humility, and inclusiveness—a leader not only for the Church, but for all of humanity. At this time of mourning, we also joyfully honor his enduring legacy. Pope Francis had a profound love for the poor, the suffering, and the marginalized. He challenged and inspired us all to build a more just, compassionate, and loving world. His enduring light lives on in the hearts of many, and will continue to guide and motivate us in our work serving others.
A big shoutout to Tasha Chance, Director of Veteran Housing Services, for sharing her expertise as a panelist at the DHCD 2025 Annual Developer Meeting. We’re proud of the important work we do to support veterans facing homelessness and grateful for Tasha’s leadership in driving these conversations forward.
Empty Bowls Weekend kicks off TONIGHT with Candlelight & Clay (6:30–9:30 PM)!
