Our Department of Planning had a great turnout for the first two STLCO 2050 Open Houses! Thank you to those who stopped by St. Louis County Library's Meramec Valley and Grant's View branches on Wednesday and Thursday evening! Don't miss your next opportunity to learn and give YOUR feedback tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, at St. Louis County Library's Florissant Valley Branch (195 S New Florissant Rd, Florissant, MO). The Open House will be held in meeting room 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Presentations will be at 10:30 a.m. and noon. The Open House will feature a short presentation, interactive displays, and opportunities to speak with the project planning team. Share your feedback on proposed improvements for transportation and housing affordability and discover ways to get involved in shaping our community’s future. We can't wait to see you there!

In honor of Administrative Professionals Day, the County Executive took over the front desk so staff get take some well deserved time off. He learned that Michele makes it look way easier than it is! Thanks to all admin professionals for keeping The Office moving ⭐️

Dr. Kanika Cunningham and staff from our Department of Public Health took part in Saturday’s inaugural BKM 4 Life Foundation Black Maternal Health 5K at SSM Health DePaul hospital. The race course around the perimeter of the hospital highlighted the challenges and triumphs Black moms face during pregnancy, delivery and the postpartum periods. Black women are 3-4X more likely to die during childbirth. This fundraising event raises awareness to improve care for mothers and babies.

From breaking ground on a new $10 million hangar complex at Spirit of St. Louis Airport to $8 million for MET Center Enhancements and Entrepreneurial Growth Initiatives, Saint Louis County is building momentum.
