This Martin Luther King Day weekend, the team at the St. Louis Community Foundation chose to serve with longtime partner LifeWise StL. One of our stated goals is to increase upward economic mobility for all St. Louisans. Lifewise, formerly known as Kingdom House, has been doing economic empowerment work for well over a century.

For many work teams around metro St. Louis, today marked first of the year group meetings after Mother Nature threw a week-long, ice and snow-covered distraction into our plans. Our President and CEO Kelvin Adams summoned his inner teacher, using actual rocks and sand to demonstrate the importance of laying out your "big rocks" early in the year!
