关于我们

ABOUT ST. ANDREW’S St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, the oldest Episcopal School in New Orleans, provides a strong academic program from Prekindergarten through 8th Grade. Small classes and caring teachers provide a challenging learning environment where children grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually. Our students are excited about learning and about giving to others through community service. The academic program at St. Andrew’s gives our students a strong foundation which, upon graduation, opens doors for them at competitive independent, public, and parochial schools. A majority of our upper school students qualify to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. • 🍁 Kinderbears' Cranberry Relish Tradition 🦃 Every year, as Thanksgiving approaches, our adorable Kinderbears enjoy a heartwarming tradition at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School: making cranberry relish and sharing it with all of their PK4 friends, teachers and staff. This cherished tradition not only brings joy to the little ones but also strengthens the bonds of friendship and community within our school. Parents eagerly join in the fun, lending a helping hand to the Kinderbears as they create their delicious cranberry relish. This collaboration between students and parents encapsulates the essence of togetherness and gratitude that defines the spirit of the season. The Kinderbears' cranberry relish tradition is a testament to the nurturing environment at St. Andrew’s, where students learn the values of kindness, sharing, and community from a young age. It's a lovely reminder of the lasting memories and friendships that are formed through our school's treasured customs. #saesnola #gocardinals

  • Yesterday, we launched our first annual "Celebrating our Differences" symposium for students in grades 1st through 8th. The day started with a reading of "The Name Jar" by Yangsook Choi, sparking meaningful conversations about the beauty of diversity. Students enjoyed various activities and discussions related to diversity, racism, and being upstanders. Technical issues led to a change in plans, with engaging movies like Zootopia and Wonder being shown. Follow-up conversations and art projects will continue in classrooms, culminating in a joint collage/mural to commemorate the day. Join us in celebrating diversity and enhancing our community together! #saesnola #gocardinals #CelebratingDifferences #UnityInDiversity #EducationForAll
