We kicked off the school year with an incredible boost of positivity thanks to 84.51?! Before the students even arrived, their team came in and brightened our first floor with inspiring quotes. They also assembled essential "GO" items for our teachers and staff to use in case of emergencies. It was exactly what we needed to start the school year on the right note. As the President of St. Rita School for the Deaf, I often remind our team to keep their chin up and hold their heads high. After 26 years in education, I know how challenging this can be, especially as the school year winds down. Teacher fatigue and staff exhaustion are telltale signs that the school year is coming to an end. Despite these challenges, our annual impact report showcases the remarkable achievements of our students and staff. This year, I sought input from our teachers and staff, and the results were astounding. Our students have not only excelled academically but also made significant spiritual and mental strides. Of course, there have been obstacles and challenges along the way. At St. Rita School for the Deaf, we recognize that teacher fatigue and staff exhaustion are very real. However, the hard work and dedication of our team have led to tremendous accomplishments. I see their successes reflected in their hearts, eyes, and bodies. I couldn’t be prouder of the teachers and staff at St. Rita School for the Deaf. They truly rocked this school year! A big shoutout to everyone in the education field—you make a difference, and the future is brighter because of you. If you know someone who works in a school, ask them to share a story about student success. You’ll see their eyes light up, revealing the passion that transcends any fatigue. As we head into summer, I encourage everyone to relax and find a balance that works for them. I eagerly anticipate welcoming #TeamStRita back in August for another amazing year, ready to make a difference and continue achieving the impossible!
